Somebody Else

Turn up your volume for the video link please: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_FTk7qGerM So I was in the barn the other night, cleaning stalls  and prepping food for the horses and Ms. Morgan  Sophia Beasley came out of her stall  for the first time (sort of) and into the aisle. The  previous night she came out and quickly went  back in. Well last night she was ready to explore.  After over a month of near hibernation, only  getting up from sleep; to eat, poop/pee and to  get treats or be brushed she was coming out.  She explored the barn, while the horses were  outside, and found many tasty morsels of food  all around. So where am I going with all this?   Simply a story about our pig?  Nope... Well, a few short months ago I was someone else.  No I haven't changed as a person but my life,  our life sure has. Who would have thought that  I would be taking care of horses and coaxing a  pig out of her stall! It's a pretty cool life...and boy  am I ready for summer! Done with the cold. The video above was taken at various points  during the last week. It's of the boys as they  enter the outdoor arena which is usually  followed by running around and a bit of playful  roughhousing, like a couple of brothers.  Sometimes they really go wild. Wish I had gotten  film of that. The second part of the video is of  Morgan "vacuuming" the floor of the barn. All of  it is so much fun to watch and yes I am in part,  somebody else. A good thing. The first song that is playing, Somebody Else,  is from the perfect film, Crazy Heart, that is out  now starring Jeff Bridges as a washed up, alcoholic  country singer touring the country by himself. It is  stunning and that is Jeff Bridges singing. He is a  lock for the best actor oscar.  Take that to the  bank! The second song is called I Don't Know,  also from the movie. Pick up the soundtrack.  It too is perfect! Get the deluxe edition...
